Ongoing Maintenance Program

DLSD has had a basic sewer line-cleaning program in place since the system was installed. With our own equipment, we have flushed and cleaned a portion of the collection system each fall. We are currently expanding this program to include those portions of the lakeside collection system that have not been easily accessible.

Some of the access manholes on this portion of the system have been buried or covered with private improvements, but we are working with residents to do the inspections and repair work as necessary.
