Invasive Aquatic Plants & Animals

Invasive species can cause severe economic, ecological and health issues. In 2009, Wisconsin passed Chapter NR 40, Wisconsin's Invasive Species Identification, Classification and Control to help prevent the introduction and spread of invasive species.

Please help protect Delavan Lake

Do not buy, sell transport or introduce invasive species.
Never put any plant or animal into the lake, even if you think it is native.
Inspect boats, trailers and equipment and remove aquatic plants, animals and mud before launching and before leaving any boat launch.
Don't use regulated species in plantings.
